Puerto Rico Beach - Hosteria Alandaluz

Located right across the sea, this magnificent and innovative Hosteria Alandaluz is built mainly of bamboo; it has a large private beach and is surrounded by magnificent flower and organic vegetable gardens as well as small bamboo forests
The hosteria has 25 cabañas (huts) of different categories. The cabañas are located at the beach or at the swimming pool, have a private bathroom and a fireplace. Some of them have also a hammock. The comfort cabañas have also a bath tub in the bathroom and are bigger so that they offer space for up to 4 people.
The hosteria helps you to organize excursions in the surrounding area. For example exploration tours to the Machalilla National Park, where abundant fauna similar to that of Galapagos can be found, as well as marine reserve and archeological and cultural areas.

Day 1: Guayaquil/Quito - Alandaluz

You will drive from Guayaquil to Puerto Rico or you will fly from Quito to Manta and from there you will drive to Puerto Rico where you will stay in the Hosteria Alandaluz, mainly built of bamboo, right in front of the private beach at the Pacific Ocean. The rest of the day is at your own disposal. -/L/D

Day 2 & 3: Alandaluz – Free days

The hosteria “Alandaluz” has become an alternative development centre through the implementation of agro-ecologic systems, bio-architecture techniques, the development of gardening and landscaping, recycling systems, the use of appropriate technologies, the management of natural areas, the recovery of craftsmanship, etc. All of these processes have generated dozens of jobs and permanent training processes. Likewise, it constantly motivates the local development, encourages self-esteem, the reinvestment in the area by promoting the human capital and strengthening of rural communities. During its long lasting and prolific trajectory, “Alandaluz” has demonstrated that the tourist activity combined with an ecologic, social, cultural and integral vision is both productive and sustainable.
These days are at your own disposal. You can relax at the private beach, in the garden of the hosteria or do some excursions. B/-/-

In the morning you leave Puerto Rico and drive to the South towards Guayaquil, Ecuador’s largest city, which is also the financial, commercial and industrial centre of the country or you will drive to Manta from where you fly back to Quito. B/-/-
